Hannover, Germany — Indonesia’s metaverse platform Metasmesta took part in Hannover Messe 2023, held on April 17–21, 2023, as part of the Indonesian delegation representing the country as the Official Partner Country under the national theme “Infinite Journey.”
Recognized as the world’s largest industrial technology exhibition, Hannover Messe brings together global industry leaders, innovators, and policymakers. Metasmesta used this platform to introduce metaverse-based solutions designed to accelerate digital transformation for Indonesia’s Small and Medium Industries (SMEs) on the global stage.
Enabling Indonesian SMEs Through the Metaverse
At the Indonesia Pavilion, Metasmesta presented integrated digital solutions that expand market access and strengthen the competitiveness of SMEs. A key highlight was the metaverse shopping center, an immersive virtual environment where businesses can showcase products and interact with international partners and customers without geographic limitations.
Through its initiatives, Metasmesta also emphasized its role in advancing the “Indonesian Metaverse Small Medium Enterprise” ecosystem—supporting the adoption of immersive technologies as part of Industry 4.0 transformation.

As the Official Partner Country, Indonesia received prominent visibility throughout Hannover Messe 2023.
